[Opinions] Help with Italian Names
My boyfriend loves his Italian heritage and wants to give his children Italian names. I already have a few names (not Italian) picked out I like but now I'm searching to find a name he will like. I find Italian names beautiful but hard to match with other names. Here is a list of Italian names that can be used as either first or middle names. Also, I tried to find nicknames for as many names as possible (they arent that great though). WDYTO the names and would you use them? Do you have any favorite Italian names?

Natalia or Valentina would be nice for a girl.
Luca or Dante would be nice for a boy. Dante was one of my favorite boy's names.

I'm Italian myself. Most of these names are fine, and fairly common. However, I'd just like to point out that I'd prefer Giovanna nn Gianna, and that Alessa isn't a real Italian name because "lessa" means boiled. Alessia is better. Dante is also not used anymore because it's considered too "heavy" because of the Alighieri connection.

My daughter's name is Bianca. Its Italian for 'white'... She's very girly but cunning....
