I don't like it. The problem is that the
German word "Klo" (pronounced like the Chlo in
Chloe) means "toilet" (slang) so I always think of that when I hear the name. It's probably a nice name when you don't speak
German but I can't help but think of that.
Hmmm it goes okay with
Hayley and
Skye. Not great, though.
Hayley and
Skye are so trendy and
Chloe is such a classic Greek name.
Oh come on nobody is going to know or remember that you had a cabbage patch kid named
Chloe ;) I had a doll named
Elsa and I still like that name. Oh and I had one named
Bonnie :P
They both go the same with your kids' names because they are both classic Greek names. I prefer
Zoe. The problem with
Zoe is that there are millions of different ways to spell it. I have seen Zoi,
Zoie,
Zoey, Zoee, Zoé,
Zowie, Zooey, Xoie etc etc
Chloe is sometimes spelled Cloe, Kloe or
Khloe but people don't seem to use these spellings too often.
If you like
Zoe and
Chloe how about
Xanthe or
Ione (EYE-o-nee) ?
Yeah it's nice to honor friends or family member, in my opinion.
