Recently (exactly a week ago, actually), my grandfather died. I was incredibly close to him. Anyway, before I get all into that and start tearing up, I'd like your opinions on how I should honor him.
His full name (fn & mn) was
Terry Lee.
I don't much like
Terry, and though I always planned to use
Lee as a middle name to honor him, I feel like maybe it's not enough. I suppose I'll make that judgment if I were to ever have a son.
Anyway, wdyto
Terence? I'd never liked it before, but when I thought about it, it kind of softened my heart. I probably would not use
Terry as a nickname, so if there are any nns you think up for
Terence other than
Terry, I'd like to hear them.
Also, combos from you all would be great :] You're all very creative and I enjoy seeing what everyone likes.
Here are a few combos I've come up with:
Terence DanielTerence IsaacTerence Joseph (
Joseph is the mn of my brothers, my father, his father and that father's twin brother, and their father.)
Terence Raphael (too many r's?)
Terence Christian
