I think it's sweet. It contended with Maggie as my favorite nickname for Margaret. It lost, in part due to my husband's opinion, but I still like it. I also like it as a nickname for Gretchen, or I think it's alright by itself. Sonia and Greta are nice names for sisters. Good choice, movie. :)

I would rather use Gretchen as the nn for Greta. Where I come from Greta is a full name and Gretchen just a nickname. I also don't like Gretchen that much.
