[Opinions] Alban(y)
I started thinking about Albany as a boy's name. I kinda knew it wasn't a "real name" but decided to try the database anyway and came across Alban. I like both, and the two come from the same place, according to Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alba). Apparently though they're both more like titles, like Duke of Albany, or places, like Albany, NY (which is admittedly what I think of first) and Alban being another word for Scotland in some languages, rather than names. The reason I even started thinking about it is because of King Lear; there's a Duke of Albany character who's referred to as just Albany throughout and lately I've been finding it so charming on its own. I think I'm preferring Albany at this point and at the same time think of it as "less usable", just because of the place. So, wdyt of Albany and Alban? Do you find them as handsome as I do, and if so, usable? Thanks. :-)
