I say BAZ-uhl. My husband says BAY-zuhl.
2. Have you heard it pronounced more than one way, and if so, is one more common than the other where you live?
Yes, I've heard it pronounced two ways. Not entirely certain, but I think BAY-zul is probably the most common in my area.
3. Do you like it?
Yes, I like Basil.
