Its not only a place name but is a form of the name Aifricso works for me as a name
It also sounds pretty and feminine unlike many other place names so though I personally aren't that fond of place names (even those with significance to a person) I think it works fine as a name :).
I think it would make a better middle name than first name.though I have seen it used as a first name, a freinds cousin
