If it weren't for the boy's name Noah, I'd actually like Noa for a girl. The sound is very pretty.
But the number of traditionally boy names being used on girls and never returning to the boy column makes me itch when I see Noa for a girl. Name nerds could tell the difference, but the general public couldn't. On balance, I have to vote a reluctant "no" on Noa.
Nola, on the other hand, is very fetching for a girl. Could I interenst you in Nola / Finola?
