Asher itself isn't very trendy or popular. The problem is that it sounds similar to a lot of trendy names even though it's legit. It's not terrible, though, and I could definitely tolerate and even learn to like the name

Heidi don't quite work for me. I think it's because they're coming from two different but very recognisable origins. They're not terrible by any stretch of the imagination, though.
