The states have people names. Not the same thing as people having state names.

SeriouslyGeorgia and Carolina were named after people. It is a totally different concept.

ExactlyAnd moreover, Georgia and Carolina are well established as people's names. It's dumb to use them to justify ridiculous names like Alabama. Why not Massachusetts and Wyoming, since we're at it?
