I really loathe state testing, but today I had to read a Greek legend about a woman named Aithra (also Aethra) and her son Theseus. Theseus never knew his father, who just so happened to be the king of Athens. Every year, Aithra would take Theseus to a large rock in the woods and have him try and lift it and bring her what was underneath, but he was unable to lift the rock until his 18th birthday. And under the rock were golden sandals and a golden sword. He brought them to his mother, who then told Theseus that he was the son of a king, and asked him what he would do were he to become king of Athens. He assured her that he would be wise and fair and a great ruler, and he went on his way to rule Athens just as his father had.

Anyway, I pretty much fell in love with the name Aithra while taking the test. The story was very heartwarming, and the name both looks and sounds beautiful (I'm assuming it's AYE-thruh). Here are some combos I've been playing with:
