[Opinions] Barley and Snow
WDYT of Barley? Its the LN of a character in the book im reading, but they always call him Barley, its really growing on me. I'd probably never use it but possibly for a Sim sibset. Also another two names im liking are:
Somerled and Snow (not together)Probably wouldnt ever use Snow but its growing on me.Can you suggest a sibling set for:
Snow
Barley
SomerledAlso I saw a program for a show with a dancer whose first name was Lockhart.

Snow, Barley, and Somerled? What a fun bunch of names.Barley is the one I'd be most hesitant to use, but I do love -arley names. Harley & Marley are names I love more than their peer names (i.e. Hailey or Ryder or Lennon or Harlow). I love the sound of Barlow, too, but could never go forward with it, because it would be like setting the "bar low" for your child.I know a little boy named Snow. He has two younger brothers named Roland and Kiefer. One of the most intriguing sibsets I've ever encountered.Somerled is awesome. I can't figure out a good combo for it, but use it! Please!

Barley -- Sim sibset yay, real person nay.
Snow -- GP of mine. Love it in theory but hard to take seriously, and I actually knew a real person with the FN Snow and she had some very tacky tastes.
Somerled -- Doesn't do much for me personally, but it is interesting.
Lockhart -- Completely not my style, kind of harsh sounding.

I can see Snow as a name. Barley seems more petish and Somerled is a new one to me. Barley, Indigo, and Sage
Snow, Autumn, and June
Somerled, Rosalind, and Xanthe

I'll see your Barley and raise you a Barnaby. Or, Sorrel?

I rather like Snow, it would be particularly well suited to a very fair child I think, either that or a very dark one (just to be different).
Somerled is OK, but a bit awkward with the very solid 'd' on the end.Barley. No, I don't like it that much, the sound is OK, but it smells a little too trendy.
