This has come up before, and I have to second that emotion. My father is gay, and the name Bruce has come up in discussion several times between us. We both agree it is the gayest name you can give a boy. My dad lives in SF's Castro district, and there are Bruces galore! I wouldn't care if I had a gay son (hey, at least I probably wouldn't have to watch sports with him!), but I still wouldn't choose that name.

I also know a woman who's given birth name is Kyle, and yes, she was a lesbian for about 15 years before she decided to switch teams. I know an Australian Kylie, but that's totally different than an American Kyle.
