[Opinions] Blair
1. WDYT?
2. Do you know anyone with this name?
3. Is the carrier a male or female?
4. Do you know their middle name?
5. WDYT would be some good MN's?
6. Does it do better as a MN in and of itself, like for Caitlin Blair?

Love Blair for a boy, I know two little boys named Blair who are absolutely lovely. One is Blair Benjamin and the other is Blair Thomas. I also know an annoying and quite rude teenager girl named Blaire Angel, ugh on a girl! Love it on a boy though, I like a middle to go with it that is very masculine, and kind of funky, like Blair Sebastian, Blair Conrad, or Blair Malachi. It makes a good middle or first, but I prefer first.

I think of the character Blair Waldorf from "Gossip Girl." Not a good association.

1. I don't like this name at all. I think it kind of looks cut off when it's written down. I don't know why I feel that way though.2. Yup3. Female (but to me, it really sounds and looks like a better boy's name)4. no idea5. If it's going to be for a girl, I'd use a classic, feminine sounding middle name to balance it out a bit.6. Yes, I think it's a bit better as a middle name.

1. It is sort of cute, but there seems like there is something missing...and IDK it sounds a bit harsh. Yet, I kind of like it.
2. Yes
3. Female
4. Blaire Catherine
5.
Blair Amelia
Blair Viola

1. WDYT? Ok, but last name-y and witch-y to me.
2. Do you know anyone with this name? Tony Blair and his family are the only ones that come to mind.
5. WDYT would be some good MN's? Blair Olivia, Blair Cassandra, Blair Amanda, Blair Julianna, Blair Sophia....
6. Does it do better as a MN in and of itself, like for Caitlin Blair? I prefer it as a mn.

I don't like it all, I don't get why people like it. It reminds me of Tony Blair, the former british prime minister.

1. WDYT?
I don't like it. The Blai part sounds almost exactly like the Swedish word for ew! And it reminds me of the movie the Exorcist. I don't know why. 2. Do you know anyone with this name?
No5. WDYT would be some good MN's?
I don't know. If it's for a boy I think Blair Alexander is quite nice6. Does it do better as a MN in and of itself, like for Caitlin Blair?
Much better as a middle name, especially if it's for a girl

1. Fine for a boy, although nms. Awful for a girl.
2. I've known 3 or so Blairs maybe.
3. All male.
4. Nope
5. Based on number 6, I'm assuming you're asking for girl combos, so here goes:
Blair Michala (mi-KAH-la)
Blair Rosetta
Blair Catriona
Blair Arietta
Blair Alexandra
Blair Emmeline
Blair Jemima
Blair Josephina
Blair Matilda6. I think it works better as a FN, for a girl anyway. I find it incredibly odd on a girl, and if it was hidden away in the MN spot it would seem even weirder, especially if the first name was quite feminine. Not a fan of Caitlin Blair.

1. To be perfectly, brutally, blatantly honest, I think Blair (along with Blaine) is one of the ugliest sounding names that most Americans would recognise.
2. Yes, I know a Blair.
3. She's female.
4. I don't know her middle name, but her siblings are Allison, Chandler (g, her mother's maiden name), Darren, Emma, and Colin.
5. For a girl? Anything very obviously feminine and very obviously classic, to help balance out the trendy, icky, masculine feel of Blair.
6. Yes, both rhythmically and because that way people won't think she's a boy. Plus that way you wouldn't have to hear it as much *blood curdles at sound of name*LOL, okay, so I'm giving you a hard time and you could do a lot worse :P It's just one of those names that really grates at me, you know?
