1. Do you think of Homer Simpson ? Unfortunately that is the first character that comes to mind, which is really a pity since I imagine before the Simpsons (eons ago) it was perceived as a dignified, cerebral name.
2. Is Homer Simpson the only "person" you can think of ? I mean does he pop into your head first or can you also think of someone/something else ? I also think of the Odessy.
3. What would you except someone named Homer to be/look like ? Hmmm. I don't know.
4. Do you know anyone named Homer ? Do you know why they were named Homer and what their middle names are ? Do they get teased ? No
5. Do you think a child named Homer will get teased ? Is the name trashy because of the character ? Does it sound stupid/dumb/trashy to you ? Whether or not the child gets teased depends on the child. Some children will get teased no matter what, and other kids are like tephlon - nothing sticks to them.
6. Do you think it could get popular ? (two celebrities used it even though that was 8 years ago or so, one was Richard Gere). Maybe a few years after the Simpsons gets off the air (it must be the longest running show ever) it could gain some traction. Of course Simpsons will probably be in syndication for the next 100 years so who knows. It does seem to have the potential to become hipster (so geek it is chic).
7. Do you like the nn Homie ? No - now that is too much like Homer Simpson.
8. What do you think of Homer Atticus ? Homer Richard ? Homer Atticus Richard Asher (too long ?) ? I like the first two combos, but Homer Atticus Richard Asher is too long.
