[Opinions] it's IY-la (sorry)
Also it doesn't really matter but technically I put IY rather than EYE because if a Scot pronounced it, the 1st syllable doesn't sound the same as the word eye it's a much shorter sound, which I've heard only exists in Scots lol, so I would say however you pronounce the i in Bite.I do like it on a girl but I'm not sure about a boy. Even though it's male, I've only known girls called Isla and since the pronunciation is the same and ends in a it's hard for me to put it on a boy. I think they would have problems (here anyway).sorry if I ruined it :(

Nah, that's okay, it's better to find out than to grow to love it and be mispronouncing it! I only found indefinitive answers in Name Facts so it's nice to know.On the plus though I do adore Isla for a girl :)
