Because I like the nn Ina, and because it's prettier. I don't care for Jo, Josie or Joey. Sophie is ok, but not a very intuitive nn for Josephine.
In general, I'm getting tired of Josephine. A co-worker just named his baby Josephine. I think it's a bit too popular right now.
