Do you prefer Alice over Alicia? (I like both names and can't decide) - Yes. I love Alice.
Do you know anyone named Alicia or variant (Alisha etc)? How old are they, how do they spell it and do you happen to know any middle names? - I know an Alisha, age about 16 or 17, and a Lisha, who is a year or two older. I also knew an Alyssa who pronounced her name Ah-LISH-uh.
What is your favorite spelling of Alicia? - Alicia.
I really love this name but I fear people will always pronounce it like Alisha or even Aleesha or something just not the way I want it to be pronounced. I also think it will be constantly misspelled even though I'd use the original spelling. So far I've seen Alicia, Alisha, Aleesha, Elisha, Alecia (I hate this) etc etc - Isn't Elisha masculine? Anyway, you can always correct people. It may be a bit tiresome, but if you love the name, you shouldn't let that stop you from using it.
Do you think it's still too common? Is it dated to the 80s like Amanda? (in a slightly dated kind of way...the way Amanda and Rebecca seem dated not the way Courtney and Tiffany do....if you get what I mean)? Do you think it is still common if you combine all the spellings? Do you know any babies or young girls named Alicia? - I dont think it's too common; I only know two. I don't think it's dated at all, but I don't know any young girls named Alicia. That may be because I know very few young girls, though.
Do you understand why Alicia is way out of the top 100 yet Alyssa is still up there? I never really got it. Do you prefer Alyssa over Alicia? - I'm not sure. Alicia brings to mind a very beautiful, charming woman and Alyssa makes me think of a very quiet, introverted girl. I like both names almost equally, but I prefer Alyssa spelled Alissa.

Do you think Estella, Adelaida nn Ada and Alicia are a good sibset? Are Ada and Alicia, Adelaida and Alicia too close to each other (ah-LEE-see-ah, ad-eh-LAY-da)? - I like the sibset. I don't think Adelaida and Alicia are too close. The first sound of each name is actually rather similar, so it works. Estella isn't alienated, which would bother me more than a similarity between the other two.
