Writing for this round: William and Ingrid met at a Ingrid's family pot-luck dinner. Ingrid's cousin, John, had invited his colleague, William. They hit it off soon after being introduced and just over a year later they were engaged. William proposed during a scenic helicopter flight for Ingrid's birthday. They were married in a small garden ceremony at Ingrid's family home- the same place where they met.

After finishing the renovations on their house, Vera and Angie decided they were ready to start having children. They quickly decided that since Vera's schedule was more flexible, she should be the one to carry the baby. To their surprise, Vera's friend Russ offered to father their child. They were initially a little concerned that the arrangement would be awkward, but they liked the idea of their child having a relationship with his or her biological father, so they agreed.
Two months after they started trying, Vera took a home pregnancy test that came up positive. She called Angie at work to tell her the good news. They decided to find out the baby's sex beforehand so they could have a name picked out, but that proved more difficult than they expected. Vera wanted to name their son Justice and refused to budge; Angie was not keen on the name, but agreed to it on the condition that they use Russell as the middle name to honor their child's father. When their son was born, Angie still hadn't warmed up to the name Justice, so she began calling him JR, which stuck.
Shortly after JR was born, Vera was out in her art studio/shed working on a painting when she heard something scratching at the door. When she opened the door, a little brown puppy ran into the shed. She assumed that he must belong to someone, as he was friendly and looked well-fed, but he was not wearing a collar. They put up posters and called vets and shelters to see if anyone had reported a missing puppy, but no one claimed him; it seemed that he had simply been abandoned. Logically, they knew they should not keep him; they were already busy with JR, and they knew that it would be easy enough to find a new home for such an adorable dog. But Vera dug in her heels and refused to give him up, arguing that he had already been dumped once and she did not want to do that to him again. They decided to keep the puppy and named him Picasso.

(Nora found out that she was pregnant while in her third year with Oscar. By now they had both finished with their studies and moved in together into a sweet little apartment near the center of town. They shared the income and the expenses, and were practically living like a couple in all but law. So when Nora found out she was pregnant (accidentally so) and she told Oscar about it, they decided that now would be a good time to get married. Even though the pregnancy was an accident of carelessness, they were both immensely happy. So they planned a wedding for when Nora would be in her 2nd month and the pregnancy still not that visible yet. Nora hadn't wanted a big, fussy wedding, but there was no avoiding it with Oscar's background, so there were many guests, many decorations, many pictures and many presents. According to Nora's helplessly romantic friends, the groom looked very suave and the bride very elegant and enviable. So 7 months later, when their little miracle entered the world, Nora and Oscar felt they were the happiest couple in the world. Just the thought that that wailing little creature was the result of their union, brought tears to their eyes. Ah, and because of his very turbulent mood swings (at least for inexperienced parents as Nora and Oscar) they named him Zephyr. And because Nora insisted he looked like the spitting image of Oscar (though as her now helplessly baby-fussing friends very truthfully pointed out, little Zephyr looked like any other baby; if a little cuter and more proportional) the couple decided to name the boy Zephyr Oscar.)

Once Clem found out that she was pregnant, Lucas and she wanted to get married ASAP, so they did. They got married August 9th. Their lives have been amazing ever since :) they got our first apartment together but because of the circumstances, it's in the same development as her parents. This is her first pregnancy. Not only does she find it absolutely amazing and wonderful, she was also scared as hell!
The weight that she been gaining is a little hard on her because well 1. she is a teenage girl, and 2. Before she became pregnant, she modeled and she was never bigger than a size 1/2.
Now on the subject of her husband: he couldn't have asked for someone better to be by her side throughout this journey. She doesn’t having difficulties with her pregnancy, but it's still very hard for her to do everyday things such as laundry, dishes, etc. So, on top of being an amazing intelligence analyst and working a 10-18 hour shift every day, Lucas will come home and they will do the dishes and laundry, and clean the house together. And then after all that is said and done, he'll still massage her legs, feet, back, and arms because he knows it's tough for her to stand for a while and do that stuff.

Emi and Rodney hadn't even been together for 3 months before Emi realised she was pregnant. It was completely unplanned, but she was quite excited about it anyway. She was a bit nervous to tell Rodney though. One day when he came home from work, she told him she was pregnant and he just responded with "but I don't want to have kids yet". Then he walked away from her and went to bed. Emi was obviously very upset and didn't sleep all night. When Rodney woke up the next day she declared to him that he had better get used to the idea of being a father, because she wanted to keep this baby. He told her to better find another guy then, because he didn't want to take care of a child. By the end of the week Rodney had moved out of the house...
A couple of months later Emi saw Rodney again in the city center and asked him if they could talk. They went back to Emi's house and discussed for hours about the baby and their relationship. The final conclusion was that they would give it another go and Rodney would move back in.
A week before she was due, Emi got the news that her mother had died. Emi, who already didn't have a father, was completely devastated. She resolved to name her child after her, Rodney agreed as long as the MN of the baby would be used for this. The day after the funeral Emi gave birth to a heathly boy, Carson Jess. At first she wanted to name him Carson (Rodney's choice) Jessico (after her mom Jessica), but Rodney vetoed Jessico, saying it was 'silly'. He didn't really like Jess either, but Emi wouldn't budge on that one.

Right after Alec and Juliet moved in together, they found out they were going to be parents. Although they weren't planning on having a child so soon (they hadn't even graduated yet), they were very excited to start their family together. They decided to find out the sex of the baby and were ecstatic when the doctor told them it was a girl. Initially, they were going to name her Chloe Elizabeth, but tragically Alec's mother Rowena passed away only a month before their little girl was born. Right after Alec and Juliet moved in together, they found out they were going to be parents. Although they weren't planning on having a child so soon (they hadn't even graduated yet), they were very excited to start their family together. They decided to find out the sex of the baby and were ecstatic when the doctor told them it was a girl. Initially, they were going to name her Chloe Elizabeth, but tragically Alec's mother Rowena passed away only a month before their little girl was born. Sadly, Avril's father Neville recently passed a way. In fact, he passed away just a week before Avril and Jake's son's birth. Avril and Jake was going to name their son Charlie Oliver but since Neville died they decided to honor him with the middlename. Instead of Jonas they chosed Jonah.

Dog: Rowan (Golden Retriever/Pitbull mix, red, 1)
Random event: Nikki found a stray puppy, and the owner couldn’t be found. They can now decide to keep the puppy or to bring it to the animal shelter. (You can choose if you want the dog or not, and you can name it)

Andrew and Nikki enjoyed their lives together immensely. They bought a three-bedroom rancher with lots of backyard space because the apartment was getting a little cramped. About a year after they were married, Nikki found a stray puppy outside of the hospital. She took it to the local shelter, like any good citizen; however, the shelter told her that they had no room for the dog. Nikki called Andrew, and he agreed that they could foster the puppy until a permanent home could be found for him. The shelter gave him a vet checkup, and he was completely healthy. The shelter employees told Nikki that it would take a week or two to process the puppy, whom they named "Rowan". Nikki took Rowan home, and immediately fell in love with the rough and tumble little dog. He looked to be a Golden Retriever cross with some Pitbull in him--he was a reddish color and had humongous paws. When Andrew got home from his clinical that day, he fell in love with Rowan too. Over the next few days, both Andrew and Nikki tried not to get too attached to Rowan, but it proved impossible. That weekend, Nikki called the shelter and said that they wanted to permanently adopt Rowan. Andrew went out and got chain-link fence for the backyard and installed it. Now, nearly a year later, Rowan is a happy, healthy puppy--and growing bigger all the time. His head already reaches Nikki's thigh when he stands up, and he's not even done growing yet.
Another big event in the Baker family's life is the addition of a child!

Loki and Alyxandra had only been married a year when she found out she was pregnant. They hadn't planned on having a child so soon, but they were excited none the less. When it came time for the ultrasound to determine the sex of the baby, he or she would not cooperate. The baby had his or her legs clamped firmly shut. Resiging themselves to a surprise, they picked out both a girl's and boy's name.
On December 14th, at two in the morning, Alyxandra went into labor. Twentytwo hours later, Rhiannon Lorelei was born.
