It's so simple, pretty, classic, and isn't used very much anymore. I think Lily is pretty too.
I have a friend named Maia, who's 22ish, but she's the only Maia/Maya I know. I know a Mary who's 25ish, and I have a great-aunt Mary who'd be in her 70's. I know I've met plenty of Marys who are middle-aged or older. I've never met a Sophia, but I know a Sophie who's about 19. And I've never met a Lily.
