[Opinions] Minjamin
I discovered a new name yesterday: Minjamin. (Miniamin in English, this is the Swedish spelling) It's a male name from the Old Testament, and is pronounced MIN-ya-min. I like the sound of it, and it also has a sweet meaning in Swedish, "min ja min" means "mine yes mine".. ;)
What do you think of Minjamin/Miniamin?

It made me think of "Mio, my Mio" as well. Heh. :P After that it made me think of the sound someone might make if they eat something yummy. It's just a really weird name.

Huh, Swedish spelling? =PNever seen it before, never heard it, and never want to see it again :P Looks like someone who couldn't stranslate Benjamin to the right name. I didn't think of min ja min, but that's probably because I never say it, not at the same time. It also makes me think of Mio min Mio. I prefer Minjamin, since Miniamin makes me think of mint. But Benjamin,Minjamin and Miniamin makes me also think of stove(=braskamin).

Enligt Bibeln ja ;)Since it's Biblical, it has a Swedish spelling, even though there's just one Swede with this name... "Min ja min" was my first thought, but I thought of Mio min Mio too - I was actually looking for a full name for Mio. ;) (Hehee, braskamin...)

Well, I don't trust the bible. ;) It would be great to have a full name for Mio. It's cute and such but I prefer it as a nickname, but sadly I haven't found any name that could be a full name for it. Yet. Miomin maybe? ;) But that sounds like idomin =P

If Mio is pronounced with an 'ee' sound, then it's a nn for Miroslav, Miomir, Mario, etc. in Croatia.

*headdesk*I didn't think that far :P I prn it Miiio in Swedish, so it's probably Mee-o or something in english.

Same here :( And Miomin sounds like Mumin :PI checked Namnarkivet (http://www.kanalen.org/namnarkivet), but I didn't find anything better than Milian... ...varför pratar jag engelska med en svensk, det känns dumt :P

(Haha jag håller med om att det känns lite dumt att prata engelska, men jag har för mig att det är nån policy eller så som BtN har att man ska hålla sig till engelska så att alla förstår vad man snackar om hehe)Milian är ett smeknamn för mig (Maximilian).
Casimiro, Emilio, Minoru, Miomir, Massimiliano... något av dom kanske funkar? ^^
