Help[Opinions] Cordula
I just came across Cordula while I was looking for German names. I'm really starting to like it. What do you think of the name? Do you think Cora would be an acceptable nn?

It sounds weird and unattractive. Cora would be a million times better.

With a beauty like Cordula, I don't think it should hide behind a nickname. Cora seems very soft and feminine and Cordula seems so hardcore. Cora = Arwen, Cordula = Éowyn. Both are lovely names that, IMO, should be used separately.

I had found that one a month ago
I like it a lot. It reminds me of grape jelly, probably because it sounds a bit like Concord, making me think of Concord Grapes (yum). It also reminds me of musical instruments, more of a string instrument, like a Cello or something. Cora is ok, though I wouldn't give her a nn.

I think it sounds like a witch. Reminds me of strawberry cordial.
