[Opinions] Passion
I was listening to the news today, and a local prison is running a program in which incarcerated mothers are allowed to take care of their babies for a few months. The woman they interviewed had a daughter named Passion. WDYT? I like it as a gp, though growing up with that name would be extremely difficult.

Any name that has sexual connotations is a bad choice in my book.

I could see people doing that, but I wouldn't... It would take a certain personality to carry that name with dignity and gain respect.

I like it more as GP but it's still cute

I feel sorry for the girl

I don't think it makes an appropriate given name, but it probably was inspired by the trade name of the perfume, instead of being directly created from the word, so it's similar to names like Chanel and Ciara (in the see-ARE-uh pronunciation) in it origin.

I hope her mn is Fruit.

Yikes! That would be a difficult name to live with. Imagine having to put that down on job applications. I'd change it.

Oh wow.I used to date a guy whose last name was pronounced like "passion", and he got made fun of for it all the time. I can't imagine having it as a first name.

Wow, that's bad. At least it wasn't Passhun or something.

Passion sounds boarderline inappropriate as a name to me...it makes me think that her parents must hav been having a night of passion before she was born... It just sounds sort of white-trash to me, sorry.

I don't like it. I really hope she has a MN she can use...
