TV, though invented before WWII, becomes popular after the war.
India becomes indepentent from Britain in 1947.
Many people start moving to the suburbs in the US.
Writing is required. Here are some ideas to help you. You don't have to use these events:
1. A refugee from Europe comes to live with you temporarily. Who is he/she, what country is he/she from, and why did they leave home?
2. Some family members are moving to the suburbs. Do they like it there?
3. The couple just celebrated their 50th anniversary. How was it?
4. One of the spouses dies or gets hurt. How did it happen?
