I hate this name so much, it just sounds so ... well, cheap. I once knew a girl in high school named Coco and I just couldn't warm up to her name. She was a lovely girl, but I just kept thinking her name was better suited for a lap dog or perfume. It's best as a nickname for a Co- name which it seems other users have suggested all the choices. My personal favorites would be Cora, Coralie, Corinne, Nicolette, and Columbia (GP of mine).
