I love Perla! I like Pearl, but I find Perla easier to say, thus I like it a tad bit more.

I do like Perla. I think it is lovely. Unfortuantely, it is a brand name over here in the US (though not very popular so not a lot of people think of it I think). You have a lot of great combos to choose from. I chose what I think are the best of the lot, though many of them were great.

I prefer Pearl myself, but only because I love how un-exotic and old-ladyish it is! I like using Pearly and Perla as affectionate forms for Pearl.

I like Perla a lot, it's very elegant. You know the funny thing? It's never talked about on the boards, but on the charts it is far more popular than Pearl. Pearl hasn't even been in the top 500 since 1958 according to this site, and isn't in the top 1000 now. Perla, however, was #405 in 2007.
