[Opinions] WDYTO Marley?
I recently noticed that Angelina Jolie's daughter is called Zahara Marley, and ever since I've had a sort of the fondness for the name Marley.
WDYT? Does it sound more masculine or feminine to you? Do you associate it too much with Bob Marley or Marley & Me? Personally, I wouldn't mind at all naming a girl after Bob Marley, for he was a legend, and in a few years the Marley & Me craze is going to die down.
I'm not sure about this as a fn but as a mn, probably.

I think it's very unattractive and unfeminine. I guess it could work for a dog, but I think it's awful for a baby.
It's not terrible on a boy...
But I dislike it for a girl, unless it is a (guilty pleasure) nickname for Martha.

I love it for a boy!
I love the book Marley and Me - in my family the craze isn't going to downfall (it's a family classic now). I do connect to the book instantly, and then remember Bob Marley (whom the dog was named after).
I think it's cute, but certainly not for a child. However, it is strictly masculine in my opinion.

This is one name that I truly don't mind for either sex. That said, I'd be more inclined to use it on a girl, simply because of the "ley" ending, which to me, usually sounds/looks more feminine.
I've loved Marley for a girl, for a very, very long time. I don't associate it with anyone or anything, because I just loved it, the moment I saw it.
I like Marley on a boy

Marley reminds me of Jacob Marley from A Christmas Carol. It only sounds like a surname to me, and it's not at all feminine, IMO.
I love the name Marley... can't decide if I prefer for a boy or a girl though
I don't like it as a name. If someone was a mad fan of Bob Marley, then it would make more sense to use it at least. But hopefully as a middle name.
It mostly makes me think of Jacob Marley from A Christmas Carol. It also makes me think of Bob Marley. I'm pretty sure there never was a Marley and Me craze, so I don't think that's an issue.

I dont like it at all
