Jacinta is utterly gorgeous.
Love it. It's one of my favorite Spanish girl's names. It has strength and beauty rolled into one.
I pronounce it with a "j" sound. But I feel guilty about it since I know the correct pronunciation should be an "h." Perhaps that's why I tend to prefer
Jacintha.
Jacinda is nice too, but
Jacinta and
Jacintha have a little more class, to me.
Giacinta visiually is very appealing to me. But I don't care for the "-cheen-" sound in it.
I'm working on liking
Hyacinth and
Hyacinthe.
NERD ALERT: By the way, I was listening to a lecture on languages / Indo-European roots system. The lecturer stated that any word in Greek with an "inth" sound in it, Corinth,
Hyacinth, etc. is not Indo-European. Experts think it is part of a language on the Greek peninsula that predate the Indo-European settlers; remnants of a "pre-Greek / Hellenic" language. Kind of cool, don't you think?
