[Opinions] Bebe?
I've currently taken to the name Bebe, pronounced Beb-eh (Not Baby) named after a 1920's actress I like.I just wondered what you guys thought of it, since I have to seek BTN's approval :)

! actually quite like itI don't know what it is, but sometimes certain over-the-top frilly super-girly names strike me as strong and classy, and Bebe is one of them. Babette is another. I give it a thumbs up!

Isn't that a fashion brand or something similar? I'm almost certain I've seen that name on a handbag before.Regarding it as just a name, it definitely sounds like a nickname.

It is not horrible. However, it is not my style. It does sound like baby to me, even when pronounced correctly. I do like names that are different though. Different names can be refreshing to hear compared to common names. As far as different goes this sure is. In that aspect it would be a nice name to use. So I wouldn't mind it on someone else's kid. It's just not a name I would personally use.

Yeah, her :D +That's why I also favour; Clara [Bow], Lillian [Gish] and closer to us Audrey [Hepburn] :P

You have good taste:) I like Clara Bow and Clara too. And Lilan Gish and Audrey Hepburn too. I am not a fan of Audrey though - it was very popular in Dublin in the seventies. My appreciation of Katharine Hepburn adds an extra filip to my Katherine love so I know where you are coming from.
