[Opinions] Billie
I really love the name Billie for a girl but do you u honestly think its a usable name today or is it just too dated and middle aged woman?

I think Billie has a lot of homespun charm, but it's pretty juvenile and very boyish so I prefer it as a nickname for something like Willa or Wilhelmina. That would give a child options as she ages.
I've met a couple Billies, and they've all been over 60, so the name seems older than middle aged to me. On the other hand, actress Carrie Fisher named her daughter Billie Catherine in 1992--there's at least one young Billie out there. :)
I would say Billie is an absolute no go, however, if you're committed to Betty Jean. They're too close.

It does seem dated and middle-aged. Even if it didn't, though, I still would really dislike it. I hate boyish names on girls, such as Billie, Tommie, Jimmie, and Willie. I've received calls at work from women named Jimmie and Willie. Yuk.
It is very cute, and usable.
Billie's adorable and usable, but I would use it as a nickname for Wilhelmina or Willa.
