Alice and Jasper are fitting in well. Jasper likes to play small pranks on Alice. Silver got lost but is home again and Jasper painted his wall. (He missed the paper.)

It has been one year since we received the children. Our family now includes kids from other adoptions also. We also have just had another biological child, another girl.

Viktoria, or Torie as we now call her, fit in right along with the other children. Crowe was glad to get a sibling his age, though he would have rather had a brother instead. She goes every other week to get help with her dyslexia, but she is doing really well in school otherwise and she has already made a lot of friends. When she came with her hampster, the other kids wanted one too. We were afraid to let the younger ones have one, but we let the other 4 older kids have one. The younger kids each got a dog, along with the other dogs we already got after the first adoption.
Olivia is now called Via and also fit in perfect with the other kids. Charlotte and Gracie were in love with her the minute they met and the 3 do everything together. They all go to preschool and Via has many friends. We got a sandbox for her when she came and all the other kids loved it too.
Sori and Laurie were excited to get a brother their own age and practically dragged Sean all over and made him play dress-up and tea party with them. It was hard on him but it didn't last long. They realized it was more fun to play with Eddii and their friends who actually liked playing that kind of thing. Sean settled in well after that and we found out he loves little kids. He was great with Max and Luke and also wants to help with Lia as much as we allow him.
Max was babied quite a bit with all the older brothers and sisters in the house. Torie, Gracie, Charlotte, and Via all help with the Max, Luke, and Lia. Max likes to play with Luke and they got into quite a bit of trouble once Luke started walking and they could do more things together.

Aaron is the best little seven year old boy ever. He is loving 2nd grade, and doing fabulously. However, the teacher has told us he draws on everything! When he's not in school, he's busy helping Erik build a chest for the twin's dress up clothes.
Gabriel, Gabe, as we call him, is now 4. We enrolled him in preschool, and is doing very well. Erik's teaching him how to read. He has developed an interest in helping Mama cook, and our junior chef is so cute in his little apron.
Chloe and Eden are 8. They have a whole group of little friends at school, and apparently they love fooling people who is who. We can tell! Chloe is on the local club's swim team and loving it. Eden is helping Mama plan the garden for the spring, and pretending she is a veterinarian.
Tinfoil is fast friends with Agathe. She treats him like he's her baby, and they are inseparable. Fairy was very timid of us at first, but now wakes us up to go take a walk in the mornings.
