I'd say Dutch (maybe there is a variant of Lijsbeta that is spelled with two i's, in Holland). It's not Finnish, that's for sure. Finnish variants of Elizabeth do include Liisa and Eliisa; Lisbet and even Lispetti have been used, but Liisbeta is totally non-Finnish.

Sounds either Dutch or Swedish to me. Definitely Scandinavian (well duh...). Lisbeth is more Swedish, so I'd say that's probably Dutch. I'll have to try and see if I can find it anywhere.

Finnish form of Elizabeth maybe (?)

Not FinnishHi,Liisbeta is not Finnish although it reminds of Finnish because of the double-i. The letter b is very uncommon in Finnish. There's a Dutch pet form of Elisabeth written Lijsbeta. Maybe it's a variant of that one?Regards, Satu
