[Opinions] How do you pronounce...
Sibylla / Sybilla? I always said SIH-bill-ah, but the site says sih-BILL-ah. I don't like that pronunciation though. I also know that the German pronunciation is zi-BUY-la, which I also like. SO, which is the correct/best pronunciation to you?

I say it the same way the site does, "sih-BILL-uh." Have you ever seen the Australian movie, "My Brillian Career?" The main character is named Sibylla. They pronounce it the same way as the site, "sih-BILL-uh." Watch the movie. "sih-BILL-uh" may grow on you. And if not, you'll still get to see one of my favorite movies of all time. (Judy Davis is so under-employed as an actress.)

The German pronunciation for Sibylla is totally wrong on this site. Y can sometimes be pronounced like UY, but in most names, it becomes an I or an EE sound. Sibylla and Sybilla would both be pronounce zi-BI-lah.
