[Opinions] Morwenna
The name Morwenna has been growing on me lately. It makes me think of a warrior woman, like an Amazon. ^_^ Do you prefer Morwenna or Morwen? I like both Tolkien's meaning of "dark maiden" and the Welsh and Cornish meaning, simply "maiden". I really like the sound of Morwenna, and the way it ties Tolkien and Celticism together. And yes, I know the character in the Silmarillion is Morwen, not Morwenna, but it's just a mental thing for me. It appeals to my inner "rainbow coalition". %-)

I love Morwenna. I have for years. I would use it too. I like Morwen too but prefer Morwenna - it's nice to find a 3 syllable name ending with a that doesn't sound too frilly.
