Kind of. I don't like the name much though. Loren feels more confident and intresting than Lauren which I think is rather dull and shy.

Loren is slightly more masculine but I picture a girl and sometimes a man. Lauren makes me think of a very lost and shy young girl. I think of the name Laura whenever I hear it. Laura makes me think of the same picture only she isn't quite as shy and sad.
