One per gender.

Does Richard count? It could be pronounced the French way. Aurélien is just a name I really like and Richard is a long time favorite. I love Mathilde and Océane equally. I guess I'd call her Océane, though. I also love Delphine and Amandine.

With the risk of coming across like a know-it-all, I just wanted to point out the fact that Jolie is not a French name. It's the French word for "cute" and it is, as far as I know, not used as a name. (I looked it up on some French name sites and it's not even in the database).

It's the French word for "pretty", "mignon/ne" is the French word for "cute". Sure, it can also be used to describe a cute/pretty girl, but the usual translation is "pretty".
Yes, you're right, it's not used as a name in France at all. At least I've never met one (my mom is French). Danielle is also really really dated in France.

Ooh, I adore French names.
My favorite French boy names are Étienne and Guillaume. I really like Guy too but it would probably be mispronounced all the time. Guillaume is just so handsome and masculine but it's very French. I don't think I could get away with it. My choice is thus Étienne for a boy. Girl names are harder. Maybe Joséphine or Ophélie.

Hmm. We were asked this in the past, and if I remember correctly my sibling set was: Bernard, Anne, Francoise and Georges. (I could sit around all day saying "zhorzh" and be serenely happy.) I still like the set, but I'm not sure if Anne qualifies as "purely French."
