I've recently come across this name in a Marian Keyes novel. Celtic/Irish names aren't really my thing, but this is kind of cool. And at least it's pronounceable and spellable.

I really like Fintan, and Irish names aren't my thing, either. It would be a cool middle name.

It's okay.
I prefer Fionán, Finley/Finlay, or just Finn.
But Fintan is okay too.
I don't hate it.

Neither are they mine, but I really like it as well--in fact, it was added to my PNL.

Fintan's definitely something interesting.

Fintan is a great name. I know of an adult and a child with this name and it works very well for both.
