Isn't this a fun, silly name? And pretty? And distinctive? It's new to me and I'd like your impressions of it.I have a new character named Nella; her combo is Nella Justine and she has a younger sister who does not have a name yet. What are your ideas for sisters for Nella? Here are my ideas:Dora

I don't exactly love Nella but I love the spunkiness of Nella Justine! I love it!I also like:Thea (adore this)

Well, I love Nell. Nella, not so much. Somehow that one extra syllable completely ruins it for me. I think Nella and Daisy go best together.

Adore, adore, adore :)I have always had a thing for Nella. My Nella was always going to be Eleanor Ruby "Nella-Rue"...I just think Nella-Rue is too cute for words.Anyway, bottom line is that I love it. It is so quirky and fun.Sister for Nella?
Daisy is a good option. Or:

Posy (Eleanor or Helen nn Nella and Josephine nn Posy would be kind of cool)

AWWW Nella-Rue. Absolutely too cute for words. :)I thought about Tessa. Tess might be better, actually.
Olive is cool. Greta is cool. Joy is good. Sadie I considered but thought might be too cutesy; same with Sally.All these are good but those are the best for my character. Thanks!

I like the name Nella. Dora, Thea, and Daisy all sound nice with Nella, especially Dora and Daisy. Other ideas:

Eh, I much prefer Nell. Nella sounds like the end of a longer name, like Antonella.

I've always admired Nella, though I view it as slightly insubstantial and decidedly inferior to Nell...Nella & Dora and Nella & Daisy are darling.

It reminds me of Nilla Wafers. It isn't bad, but I would prefer it as a nn to Eleanor, Eleanora, Penelope, etc. I'd pick either Thea or Daisy as Nella's sister.
