WDYTO Pip for a boy? Could it be used as a full first name? Other than Philip are there any other names Pip could be short for?

Any middle names for Pip or for the names which could be nicknamed Pip?

I think it is too nicknamey to be used for a full name. I have a parrot named Pippin and his nickname is Pip.

I don't like it as a full name but it's cute as a nickname for Philip. Maybe Percival? Or versions of Philip such as Philippe and Felipe. Can't think of anything else it could be short for.

I wouldn't use it as a full fn, but I do like it. My brother is Philip and sometimes I call him Pip; it isn't his nn (he doesn't have one), more of an endearment.
Could also be a nn for:
Paavali
Patrick/Padraig/Padraic/etc.
Palmiro
Panfilo
Paolino
Paride
Pepin
Percival
Petri
Phineas
Pierre

No, I don't think Pip could be used as a full first name. Even "Great Expectations" Pip was Philip. Philip is WORLDS better.
