I love it for a character, like it for a real person nn Annie.
Annis was the name of Oskan's mother in the Icemark trilogy.

Same here.And I actually like the name. But still, I see/hear "anus" regardless of the actual difference in spelling and pronunciation.

I don't think it is pronounced that wayI think it is supposed to be pronounced Ann-ess. Not that it makes it any better of a name. I don't particularly like it any way it is pronounced.

Looks a bit modern. I prefer similar names like Alice, Anneliese, Annika, and Anise.
