Plus I always thought of it as more correct, like Nathanael or Rebekah (though I do like Nathaniel. I don't like Rachel or Rebecca much). Rachyl looks ugly to me. Why not use something like Rachelle or Raquel? They're pronounced slightly different as well.
Thank you for liking Rachael instead of Rachel! It's rare when I meet someone who prefers that spelling. And a lot of people mispronounce it; once, a customer read my name tag and called me "Raw-shy-ELLE." I didn't know what to say.
