I'm not an expert, but this name looks like a form of the German name Lotte, usually a nickname for Carlotta or Liselotta. 'E' is often used to replace an umlaut (two dots above a letter), so it would perhaps in German have been L(o with an umlaut)tte. Hope that helped!
Hi,There is no form Lötte or Loette as a variant of Lotte in Germany as far as I know, so I'd guess it's a variant form of a French name likeLouisette Leonette Lolette LoretteSome variant forms of Lotte are:Lott Lotta Lottchen Lotten Lotti Lottie Lottis Lotty Lotje LotsjeSatu
