[Opinions] Kenzie
Does Kenzie work on its own or should it be used as a nickname for Mackenzie only?I like McKenzie, Mackenzie and Kenzie and am just wondering whether I should just use Kenzie or go for the full name. I don't mind it meaning "son of" with the Mc attached and I like the full name but lately I've started to like Kenzie on its own.McKenzie/Mackenzie or Kenzie?Do you think that if I named her Kenzie people would always assume her full name was Mackenzie and try to call her Mackenzie? I know a Jessie who was always called Jessica by teachers even though she told them a million times her name was Jessie.Do you think Kenzie is too nicknameish to be used on its own?Do the Mackenzies you know go by Kenzie or is Mack a more common nickname for Mackenzie? Do you know anyone named just Kenzie?Too trendy?

I think that Kenzie would be alright by itself.

I don't know that I've ever met a McKenzie. I know of a kid called Mack (a girl, so I'd like to think it's short for something like McKenzie) and a Kenzie or Kensey or Kencie, I don't know how it is spelled. I do think that Kenzie would be fine on it's own, and not constantly lengthened to McKenzie.

Does Kenzie work on its own, or should it be used as a nickname only?
-I think it sounds more like a NN than a full name. It would be perfect for Mackenzie.Do you think that if I named her Kenzie people would always assume her full name was Mackenzie and try to call her Mackenzie?
-Probably.Do you think Kenzie is too nicknamish to be used on its own?
-Yes.Do the Mackenzies you know go by Kenzie or is Mack a more common nickname for Mackenzie? Do you know anyone named just Kenzie?
-I don't know any Mackenzies, but I've heard mothers call their daughters Kenzie more than Mack. I've never known a girl called Mack. And no, I don't know anyone named just Kenzie, either.Too trendy?
-By my personal standards, yes.

I have seen Kenzie used on its own, yes, and I kind of like it. I don't really like Mackenzie and I actually think Kenzie is cute.

I have a tiny relative named Kenzie. (age under one year.) It's trendy, I know, but I don't really mind it, and prefer it to MacKenzie.I know just one MacKenzie; age about 10 or 11; she's always called by her full name, no nick-names. I'd use Kenzie on it's own, not too nick-nameish.

I knew a boy whose full name was Kenzie.I think it works on its own. Its not too trendy or too nicknameish.I've only known one Mackenzie and her nickname was Mack.

Kenzie does work on its own, in my opinion. At least it's better than Mackenzie.Too trendy for my taste. I do not know any Mackenzies though.
