[Opinions] twin names
Replies
Well I'm definitely not a fan of same sounding names for twins. Each twin is it's own person and has it's own identity, so should be treated as two different beings, not one. Therefore different sounding names are paramount imo.
Brendan is a good name with staying power. Brenna and Brandon are on the flimsy side of modern. Anyway, think of your own convenience: if you shout for Brenna, she can easily mishear it and assume you want Brendan, and of course vice versa. If you like alliteration, what about Brendan and Bridget? Same naming tradition, and different enough.

I know it's not exactly the same, but that's what popped into my head.

Aside from the names sounding too similar, I think they are...well, boring. Vanilla. Even for singletons, they don't anything for me.
I like these names and it just so happens that I used to imagine myself with twins named Brandon (m) and Breanna (f), so that's very close. Their nicknames would have been Brannie and Bree. I really liked the idea for a while but I've gotten over it somewhat. My fave MNs for these names would be Brenna Autumn Rose and Brandon Thomas. =)

Twins are two separate people
and deserve two separate names. These are much too similar, imo.

Agree.
Yep, this.

Pick on or the other.
it's possible for names to compliment each other or have a clever tie between them without looking like the same name.
Like - Elliot and Lottie, Stephan and Laurel, Blanche and Albin, etc.
Picking names like that is way more fun! :)
Oh, But I forgot your original question. Suggestions on middle names:
Brenna Maria
Brendon Marcus
Brenna Minerva
Brendon George
Brenna Gwendolyn
Brendon Jude
