[Opinions] Merritt
I read about a Merritt the other day and the name made a good impression on me. I really like the sound of it.
The only thing is that I don't quite know what to think of the two Ts. Would Merit be better? (I like male virtue names because you don't see them all that often and they remind me of colonial New England, which is awesome).

Love!
Merritt is my mother's maiden name and my brother's second middle name. I love the sound of it. It is snappy yet interesting and classy. I prefer Merritt for family reasons, but I also like the bulk the double letters add to the name and I think it makes it look fuller if that makes sense at all. Either way I think it is a wonderful name.

It is in our top 3 for a girl also.
We were looking for something strong that goes with Chapel and Winsor.
I would spell it Merit as it just seems a but more feminine - same reason why I took the D out of Winsor.
