It's the first thing I hear and see. I like Valerie at the moment, and I am trying to find a nice variant but Valerina is just not going it for me.

It sounds like the old lady Val with a cigg hangin outta her mouth and itching under her wig with a tutu on... (ballerina)

Like my students from Mexico who never learned to spell there trying to spell ballerina. But then, it's closer to ballerina than they'd come up with.

A little too close to ballerina for me. But I could see myself loving Valerine.

Sounds like "ballerina." Too pink for my taste.
