What do you think of Lucille?
-I think it's charming, but I prefer Lucinda.
Do you know anyone named Lucille? Do you think a Lucille would get called Lucy?
-My mother-in-law is named Lucille, and everyone calls her Lucy. I guess you could insist on being called Lucille, but Lucy sounds better for a little girl/young woman.
Do you think Lucille sounds similar to Lucy?
-Yes.
Do you think Lucille will get popular again?
-Lucille, no. Lucy, however, is already in the top 100 here in the states, so it's already risen in popularity.
Does it sound dated to you? What kind of person do you picture when you see the name?
-A little, yes. I think it's okay, but all I can see is my mother-in-law (not a bad thing, she's a lovely woman).
