Casey Jones, who died poetically in a train smash. Corey, like the squawk of a bird. Carey, short for Caroline in some accents. Don't see any of them as names that will last, for either gender.
I prefer it on a girl, but it's fine on a boy. I just think it sounds a bit cutesy and feminine.
I like Cory and Corey (prefer this spelling) for a boy and I also like Cary for a boy. Not sure if I would use Cary, though. Looks and sounds quite feminine. I also like Carey for a boy, but it looks even more feminine to me than Cary.

I knew a boy named Casey and a girl named Casey but I still associate Casey as being more masculine. The same with Corey and Carey. Corey seems more masculine but Carey seems more feminine. This is just me, though.
