We decided to change Emmii's name to Emmeline Faye, though we still call her Emmy. She is very happy with us, especially in her bedroom. We let her "help" decorate. It is pink with fairies painted on the walls. We are in contact with her birth mother, who visits once every few months.

Antonio settled in quickly. He is beginning to be fluent in English. We let him keep Rex. Antonio is now enrolled in art classes at a local fine arts school. He enjoys them very much and loves to show us his creations, especially anything with pastels.

Lilly took a while to trust us, but has adjusted great. She attends therapy occasionally, which we think has helped her. She and Karl have made several new friends together. Lilly has also been learning how to play the clarinet and cannot wait to join the school band when she gets into high school.

Karl is, with Lilly's help, doing very well. He has made some more friends and joined the band at his high school. His classic literature collection has greatly expanded, and he likes to spend some time every day reading.
