I like it. I like it mcuh better then the overused Madeline and is softer than Magdalena.

Love it, but slightly prefer Maddalena as the spelling, don't know why just more used to it. My only drawback to this name is I HATE HATE HATE Maddy and it seems inevitable as a nickname.

I don't like it. It looks (and sounds) like it's missing a G. I definitely prefer Magdalena.

I really like it, I have a friend named Madelena, but Madalena is pretty too along with Magdalena. I love all of the names. I feel like Madalena is more practical compared to Magdalena which is more weighty but I use Magdalena all of the time.

I like it a lot and actually prefer it to Magdalena. I suppose because I like Maddie over Maggie. Also, Madalena has a lighter feel to it vs. Magdalena. As a plus, it's really nice with your children's names.

I'm used to it, and I think it's nice. I once came across twins Madalena and Filomena (aptly nicknamed Lena and Mena).

I like both Magdalena and Madalena.

I'm used to seeing Maddalena because that's how the name's spelled in my native language, so Madalena looks odd and incomplete to me.

I prefer Magdalen without the -a, but if I had to choose I'd go for Magdalena instead of Madalena, which is too close to the boring Madeleine for my taste.

I liked it at first, but then I realized it looked like a cross between Magdalena and Madalin or Madeleine or something. I do think it sounds good though, and its uncommon but easy to say.

I prefer Magdalena. Madalena sounds a little too much like garbled Madeline to me.

Magdalena is nice, but the 'mag' part turns me off.
